ADHD stands for Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder. The name describes what the disorder entails. It’s a chemical imbalance in the brain where people develop an inability to concentrate, focus or pay attention to whoever is speaking, difficulty controlling a behavior and hyperactivity (can’t stay still for long periods of time. Always have to be doing something).Adhd

6.4 million American Children from ages 4-17 were diagnosed with ADHD in 2014. Average age of diagnosis is 7 years old. But since the medical system it’s now trying to prevent ADHD from “developing” they are medicating children with amphetamines or methylphenidate drugs, which are stimulants (molecules away from cocaine) to “treat” the ADHD.

There has been a 42% INCREASE in diagnoses of ADHD in the past 8 years. To an average person, the yearly treatment for ADHD will cost $14,500 and the yearly cost for all Americans is $42.5 BILLIONS.

Like I said before, ADHD is the result of chemical imbalances in the brain especially in the prefrontal cortex of the brain. Prefrontal cortex is the area where emotional responses, attention and behavior/judgment is controlled and developed. This area of the brain it’s constantly being influenced by the brain stem and cerebellum, which are the two areas where C1 (the first bone in your neck) is located.

This is why getting your children’s spine checked its so vital for their health. If that first bone in your neck is subluxated and its putting pressure to the brain stem, then can you see why many children are developing brain disorders like ADHD?. The information is not flowing from the brain to the body and from the body to the brain like its supposed to. Therefore, the body is building disease instead of health.

These are some of the most common side effects of all the ADHD drugs:

  • Suicide
  • Depression
  • Bipolar Disorder
  • High blood pressure
  • Liver problems
  • Psychosis
  • Irregular heart beat
  • Neurological “Tics”

These are not side effects anyone wants for their child, which is why here at Innovative Health & Wellness Group our goal is to get to the root cause of the problem so that our patients don’t ever have to get to that point.
